Help Center - Departure times
You can find the currently planned departure time directly on our website and in your customer account:
- during the booking process, next to your selected departure point
- after booking, at any time in your customer account under Bus Tours, in the information about your departure point
- additionally, in your booking confirmation and invoice (showing the information available at the time of booking)
Our tip: If you have already booked, simply check your customer account. This is where you will always find the latest planned departure time for your tour.
No. As long as the tour has not yet been finalised, the displayed departure time is preliminary and subject to change. We still show you the planned time in advance so that you can organise your journey to the departure point as early as possible.
The departure time may change until the final tour planning has been completed, for example due to new bookings, changes to the route, roadworks or other factors.
The main booker will usually receive the final tour information by email approximately 3–5 days before the tour.
The main booker will receive the final tour information, including the departure times for the outward and return journey, by email approximately 3–5 days before the tour.
However, you do not have to wait for this email. You can already see the currently planned departure time on our website and, once you have booked, at any time in your customer account.
Yes. The preliminary departure time shown may still change until the final tour planning has been completed.
Our routes depend, among other things, on how many passengers have booked from the individual departure points. Roadworks, road closures or other short-term changes may also affect the final route and departure times.
We therefore recommend checking your customer account again shortly before the tour and then following the final tour information.
Your booking confirmation and invoice are created at the time of booking and are not automatically updated afterwards.
If the planned departure time changes after your booking, your email or invoice may therefore still show an older departure time.
Until the final tour information is sent, the latest time shown in your customer account or on our website is the most up-to-date planned departure time.
The main booker will also receive the final tour information by email approximately 3–5 days before the tour.
Our bus tours are planned based on the actual bookings we receive. A bus usually stops at several departure points along the route to pick up additional passengers.
Only once we have received enough bookings can we plan the route efficiently and sensibly.
Finalising the route closer to the departure date also allows us to take roadworks, road closures and other short-term changes into account.
To help you plan ahead, we still provide you with a preliminary departure time in advance.
You do not need to contact us for this.
You can view the currently planned departure time on our website at any time. If you have already booked, you will also find it in your customer account under Bus Tours, in the information about your departure point.
Please note that this time may still change until the final tour planning has been completed. We are therefore unable to confirm a binding final departure time any earlier.
If a return departure time has already been planned for your tour, it will be displayed directly during the booking process.
Once you have selected a departure point, you will find the planned return departure time in your tour overview.
After booking, you can find the latest information about your tour in your customer account.
The main booker will also receive the final information for both the outward and return journey by email approximately 3–5 days before the tour.
A coach journey usually takes longer than travelling by car. There are several reasons for this:
- The bus stops at additional departure points along the route.
- Different speed limits apply to coaches.
- We take the necessary breaks into account.
- The driver's legally required driving and rest periods must be observed.
- We include additional time buffers for traffic and minor delays.
We always plan our journeys so that you arrive at the event at least 1 hour before the event starts.
Experience has shown that a few minutes can sometimes be lost during the journey due to additional breaks, minor traffic jams or passengers arriving late at their departure point. We therefore include an appropriate time buffer in our planning.
First of all, please note that the email containing the final tour information is usually only sent to the main booker, unless they also provided the email addresses of the other passengers.
If you are travelling as an additional passenger, please contact the main booker first.
If you are the main booker, please check:
- your spam/junk folder
- whether the email address stored in your account is correct
- whether your email inbox is full
- whether your booking is displayed under Bus Tours in your customer account
Regardless of the email, you can always check the currently planned departure time in your customer account.
If you still haven't received the final tour information shortly before the tour even though your booking is active, you can of course contact us.
